2014 - Evening at the Courthouse
On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Justice Initiatives, Inc. hosted the 8th Annual Evening at the Courthouse Fundraiser event at the Mecklenburg County courthouse. This year marked the 10th anniversary of the organization and was one of the best events to date. Many distinguished guests attended, including members of the state and federal judiciary, state and local elected representatives and leading members of the Mecklenburg County bar and community. Guests enjoyed entrees, desserts, smoothies and a coffee bar from some of Charlotte’s finest dining establishments. Guests were entertained with live jazz music from the Harvey Cummings Project while they participated in a silent auction with many exciting items and packages. Thanks to the many generous donations, Justice Initiatives made significant strides in reaching its fundraising goal.
